Homemade Christmas fudge is a delightful holiday treat that brings joy and nostalgia into your kitchen. Rich, creamy, and oh-so-decadent, this fudge melts in your mouth, making it perfect for holiday gatherings or as a heartfelt gift. With just a few simple ingredients and minimal effort, you can create a batch that will impress family and friends. Customize it with nuts or flavored extracts to make it truly your own!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your workspace by lining an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. If using, fold in chopped nuts gently into the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  6. Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
