  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup colorful sprinkles (plus more for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; gradually add to wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Gently fold in half of the sprinkles using a spatula.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, top with remaining sprinkles, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
