Instructions
- Cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Divide the dough into three parts: one plain (white), one colored red, and one colored blue.
- Roll out each layer on parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Stack the layers with the plain layer in the middle, then roll tightly into a log shape.
- Wrap the log in plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice chilled dough into rounds and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.
