  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat, softened)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  2. In another bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. For the filling, beat cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, press down slightly to create an indentation for filling. Add cheesecake filling into each indentation and cover with more dough.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden but soft in the center. Cool before serving.
