  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk (or plant-based alternative)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, and oil until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; do not overmix.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar with cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Add remaining batter and top with more cinnamon-sugar.
  7. Use a knife to create swirls and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
