Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon skin-side down on it. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then brush with remaining marinade and return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
- Optionally, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top before serving.
