Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lemon juice until well combined.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon skin-side down on it. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then brush with remaining marinade and return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top before serving.
