  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Oreo cookies (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in chocolate chips and chopped Oreos.
  7. Scoop dollops of dough onto prepared sheets about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  9. Cool on the sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
