- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups beef broth
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix gently until just combined.
- Wet your hands and roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour for about 1 minute until golden brown.
- Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken before stirring in sour cream.
