  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (whole or preferred)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and mix in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Fold diced apples into the wet mixture.
  5. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
  6. Transfer batter to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
