- Gently fold in flour, baking powder, and cinnamon until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and extra cinnamon for the filling.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Dollop with the cinnamon filling and cover with remaining batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown edges form; the center should be set but slightly soft.
- Let cool before drizzling with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
