  • 1 lb lean ground chicken
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Chop broccoli into bite-sized florets and mince garlic and ginger.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil. Once hot, add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets, honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and an extra splash of sesame oil. Stir well to coat all ingredients.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, until broccoli is tender yet vibrant green.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately over cooked rice or quinoa.
